BWCA magic

Enjoying the Wilderness

Going to the BWCA is always a great experience. Our four week MN vacation started with a five day trip to this remarkable wilderness with Patti and Cornell in the end of September. As always, the trip was perfectly planned, and enjoyed by all of us. The kids were there for the second time, two years ago we came in the summertime.

Going in we had the wind in our backs and threatening skies, but the downpour didn't start until we reached our campsite at Little Shell Lake. Being served Rob Roys (with ice of course) in the evening sure made us forget the percipitation :-). Tuesday through Thursday we stayed dry, and enjoyed the company, hikes, food, wildlife and tranquility of the Boundary Waters. Going home Friday was also slightly wet, but what the heck, it was windy anyway.

The trip was our xmas present from Pat and Cornell - they don't come any better - THANX GISE!
