Our new Carpet
Christmas Eve was celebrated at Sviland this year, together with Farmor, Farfar, Tore, Jorunn, Siril, Morten and Bjørnar. When we arrived at their house, Jorunn was on her way to the vet - Nadja, their dog, had injured a leg quite severly. It seems that her Achilles has been cut off. Two hours later the dog was patched up, and we got dinner on the table.
The traditional lamb dish, pinnekjøtt, was served, with potatoes, sauerkraut and mashed rudabager. Totally delicious of course. Afterwards we opened presents and had a great time. Everybody was very happy with what Santa brought. The picture shows our new carpet which Bjørn has made for us. It's absolutely beautiful, both the work and the design. Going to bed now, tomorrow morning will be our "US celebration", and in the afternoon I'll make Lutefisk. Everything set for another great day :-)
