Skiing in Røldal

Mid March is normally a good time for skiing. Still a lot of snow, but milder and with more day light than in January or February.

Røldal was cold last weekend, but still very enjoyable. We took off right after work Thursday, and arrived at our rented cabin around seven in the evening. We made dinner, and then Per, Siren, Marte and Trym arrived.

Friday was a gorgeous day, with blue skies and great skiing conditions. We down-hill skied from 10 until 4, with only a couple of short brakes. The next day was almost as nice, and we skied just as much.

Sunday the weather turned nasty, but still we managed to ski some more before driving home. Great weekend!
