Saturday morning we got up at 4 AM to be at the airport at 5. We flew out of Sola at 06:50, and landed in Minneapolis at 11:45 AM local time. By then we had already been awake for 15 hours, so we were getting tired. Being tired is really no problem when we fly into Minneapolis. As always, Patti and Cornell picked us up and brought us home, only stopping on the way for beer and burgers.
The rest of the afternoon and evening was totally delightful, with more beer, Rob Roys, and a delicious steak dinner on the porch. The heat was so intense that it was almost funny!
We concked out at around 10 PM, happy to be in the States once again.
