Merry belated christmas!

This year we've really had a wonderful Christmas. Daniel treated us with a week's visit, as a last leg on his world tour. After going to Tanzania for a school trip (!!!), he went to England to visit Therese's english family, as well as Jenni & Trent in London, before stopping by in Norway, since he was in the area.
We had Christmas Eve at Sviland, in my uncle's house. We were 17 people in all: Us four, Daniel, Arnlaug, Tore and Jorunn, Morten and Bjørnar, Jorunn from Sweden and her three children Johan, Hanna and Frida, and Siril and Frank and their daughter Amailie, age 1 1/2 and the constant center of attention. We had a delicious lamb meal - "pinnekjøtt", the same as always on Christmas Eve.
Christmas Day was celebrated at our place, with the same gang as the night before, minus Siril, Frank and Amalie. We had fresh cod, which was very good. On December 26th we went to Arnlaug and the Swedes for dinner. Again we were the same people as on Christmas Eve.
The weather was lovely all week long, Daniel must have brought it with him from Africa. We went for several nice walks with Arnlaug and the Swedes, and we also took Daniel up to Månafossen and Gloppedalsura one day.
But alas, all good things must come to an end, and Daniel left early this morning. Today we've done our Top Ten of 2008, as always, and now we're getting ready for New Year's Eve. Our lists will be up some time soon.
