Weekend hike from Lortabu to Høgaleita

We just got back from a delightful weekend hike. Thomas and a friend, Håkon, left on Thursday evening. They slept one night in Røssdalen in a tent and hiked all the way to Langevatn on Friday. Saturday morning, Knut, myself, Linda, Ragnar and his son Kjetil drove to Hunnedalen where we parked one car at Høgaleite and one at Lortabu. We walked from Lortabu to Sandvatn while the boys went first to Kjerag and then backtracked to meet us at Sandvatn. We had a nice evening together and walked together out, leaving Hunnedalen at Høgaleite which is where our cabin is. While driving to Hunnedalen it rained so hard that we all thought "Well well we are going to get wet!!" But as we drove closer to our starting point the blue skies came in. We did 't feel a drop of rain again until we were back at the parking lot!!
