We went into Oyster Lake. We took Oyster River inn and had to cross about ten beaver dams which Knut and I thought was a blast, but the others didn't appreciate it as much. We spent the first night at a site on Oyster that we had not used before, but were able to move the next morning to our favorite site just on the point beside the portage.
The days were spent either under the tarp or in the tent avoiding the rain, in a opening in the woods to get out of the wind or out on the rocks in the minutes of delightful sunshine between showers.
The day going out was a sunny and delightfully warm day so Cathy and Art could see how truly amazing it can be up there!
