Thomas is back from the mountains and back on the blog

Hey everyone,

My time of being the only Haaland missing on this blog has finally come to an end, partly as I found it a bit embarrassing, and partly actually because there's been such a lot of fun stuff going on lately that I felt it required some blogging. To start things off - some pictures from a hike I took last weekend to Snøhetta, one of the most famous mountains in Norway, which it was high time I got around to visiting.

I'll start with the best, here we are at the summit, about 7500 ft. From the left it's me, Joakim, Gunnar and Jon. The weather was supposed to be spectacular, so we were a bit disappointed when we woke up in the cabin at the foot of the mountain in the morning and found it to be a drearily cloudy, cold and windy day, but it turned out all it was was a layer of fog at around 6000 ft., at which point there still was 1500 ft. of Snøhetta to go, so we felt like in an airplane, looking down on the sea of fog. Totally beautiful.
The top was sunny and warm enough to sit down on for an hour and a half. What an amazing view, all we could see outside of the Snøhetta-ridge was a select few of Norway's other highest mountains sticking up from the fog.
This is what it looked like below the fog. The ground was basically covered in snow, the next trip will have to be on skis!
The last day we saw wild musk oxen! Enormous and terrifying animals - we made sure to keep our distance, even though they are totally peaceful.

More updates will follow regularly!
