Welcome 2014, may you be as good as 2013

It's been ages since we've posted but that doesn't mean life has been uneventful. 

Hunnedalen has been the focal point of all our weekends, bringing friends or family with us up here as often as possible. 

This summer we painted the cabin with good help from Linda and Arnlaug. The grey-water tank is installed and the drain pipes are insulated and heated. Again we've received plenty of help from both kids, Kjell Lauritz and Wenche. 

Both kids were home for Christmas and it was delightful. 

But, Christmas is over now, Thomas left 12 days ago for his 4 month adventure in Asia with Alex. We enjoy his blogs tremendously and I find myself reliving his experiences in my mind, much the same way I did when Linda & co crossed Baffin Island last spring. I'm so happy that both of them are exploring the wonders of this amazing planet. 

Linda returned to Tromsø yesterday, will miss that ray of sunshine in Sandnes! 

We're in Hunnedalen now, we took a short snowshoe walk, filled a water jug at the river and tried out our new avalanche pole we got from all 3 kids for our birthdays. 

This is 30 degrees!
