You need four days to celebrate 60 yrs of marriage and 80 yrs of living. And that's what we did - at the most close to 80 people were attending the fully packed schedule of fun, food, adventures and friendships. Ray and Ceci hosted the whole event to perfection.

When all their kids and their families were gathered, friends and relatives started pouring into the farm for lunch, hikes, talking and hugging. Sooo many nice people, what a treat to meet them all! In the evening we all gathered at the Askov community centre for dinner, dancing, talks and celebration. A very fun evening! The next morning we had breakfast with the same gang in the same place, the only down was that the caterers hadn't really understood Ryan's advice on the coffee brewing ;-)

Other events included an evening out at Tooties in Moose Lake, a trip to the North Shore by bus (in pouring rain) followed by a great dinner at a Mexican restaurant in Duluth, a visit to the Audobon Society near Sandstone and lots of fun around the bonfires in the evenings.
