Sunday Patti and Cornell came up to the Farm for a visit. We took a hike out to Mack Lake, and looked at the prairie grass growing there. Compared to two years ago, the grass is really spreading nicely, and even though the summer has been dry, some of the grass is growing tall.
After the hike Cornell and I barbequed a pork roast, and served it with vegetables, apple sauce and potatoes. Once again we ate our dinner outside, the nice breeze making it just right in the shade of the trees.
