Top Ten 2006

Here it is folks, the top ten of 2006 as seen through the eyes of Rebecca, Thomas and Linda.
As we have done for many years now, Thomas, Linda and I have taken a walk up to the top of the steps here (a 330 step climb to the best view over Sandnes) where we sit and eat Christmas cookies, drink tea or cocoa and talk about the year gone by.

Thomas:

1. BWCA
2. Seeing everyone in Minnesota again
3. New school
4. Kaizers (a concert we all went to this fall)
5. Easter ski trip to Hovden with Ragnar and his kids - (check April 2006 blog)
6. Viking - Brann 5-0 (See blog of 6 November!)
7. Listening to music
8. Hike up Fidjadalen (See September 2006 blog)
9. Piano
10. Christmas this year with the whole Haaland family together.

Linda:

1. Seeing Grandma and Grandpa again
2. BWCA
3. Visiting Sue and the zoo (a high school friend of Reb's that Linda has visited a few times while we were in MN)
4. Kaizers (a concert we all went to this fall)
5. Viking - Brann 5-0 (See blog of 6 November!)
6. Ski trips to Hovden and Røldal
7. Farfar, Farmor and the Swedes
8. Trip to Tregde with Per and kids
9. Watching "Singin' in the Rain" with Pat and Cornell
10. Camping at Røssdalen

Rebecca:

1. Seeing everyone in MN again
2. BWCA
3. Minneapolis days and the Boondocks Harvest Party
4. Many great days with Bjørn and Arnlaug
5. Christmas this year with the whole Haaland family together.
6. My kids
7. Camping at Røssdalen
8. Ski trips to Hovden and Røldal
9. The many day-hikes we've had this year (but there were not enough of them)
10. Hearing that mom is feeling so much better.

So there you have it, lots of similar things on the lists, but they are also getting more and more different as the years go by. Guess that's what happens as the kids grow up. We really like this tradition and I hope we can do it for many years to come.
