Changes in our yard

We are having a deck built outside our livingroom. It is something we have been planning and dreaming about for some time now. So I thought I'd show you the last pictures of the flower beds and cherry tree outside the livingroom since it is now gone!

Now that the deck is finished, I thought I'd update this post with a few pictures.

It was almost finished while Tali and Carolyn were here and this is how it looked then.

Just a few days after they left the builders came and finished it. Taadaa! - Here it is now. It still needs painting. We'll paint the railing the same color as the rest of the house. Haven't decided if there'll be any white on it or not. The floor will not be painted.

We will be storing firewood underneath. Finally a place to keep the firewood dry! Moving the firewood will empty a few other areas in the yard, so we have lots of moving around and cleaning up to, but all we're really waiting for is the nice weather!
