Remodelling V

Now we're getting close, look how nice it is.

Here, most of the cupboards are mounted and most of the appliances are in place. We're really pleased with the choice of color.

In this picture, you see the handles are mounted and there's trim around the window. There is loads of small things you don't see, like the trim along the floor and ceiling and the shelves inside the cupboards. All things that take lots of time but don't show in a picture.

Here's a view from the hallway door. The desk is ready with shelves over and lights mounted under the bottom shelf. There are LED spots in the ceiling and under the cupboards. It is a very nice lighting.

The livingroom is also coming along nicely. Today they cleaned up lots and oiled the floor. Next week they'll finish the trim along the floor. There is still some paint touch-ups missing and a bit more trim that needs to be done. But all the lights are ready as well as lots of new wiring. We have replaced the fuse box and put in a heat exchanger. We're looking forward to turning that on as some extreme weather is coming next week.


Hopefully we can start washing in the kitchen this weekend and maybe even start to move things in. I dare say, my next blog will contain pictures of the finished thing! Weehaa! -Reb
