And they're off

Since Rebecca's knee is bad, the kids got to do it themselves. Saturday we took Linda, Thomas and Eivind up to Hunnedalen, ready for a 4 day hike in the mountains. The weather forecast for the weekend was the same as it had been for quite a while - lots of rain and relatively chilly.

Driving up to Hunnedalen took us through a few very heavy showers, but I heard no complaints from the back seat. When we got to the entry point the rain had stopped though, and things looked pretty bright.

Rebecca and I followed the kids for an hour and a half, had lunch, said good bye, and turned around. The kids just smiled, and headed into the wilderness - totally by themselves..
