So as you already know, Linda and I managed to negotiate with Mommy and Daddy to let us go for a four-day-hike in the Norwegian mountains. The weather forecasts were terrible - constant rain, fog, and temperatures down to six degrees - that's almost down in the thirties I think. In the middle of July. Jeez. Anyhow, we invited my friend Eivind, who enjoys hiking as well and came with us a few times last year.
Despite of terrible weather and the news that there had been a rescue mission in the same area just a few days earlier, we set off with high spirits towards the Blåfjellenden cabin. The next day we carried on towards Langavatn cabin, heading even deeper in to the wilderness. We had to wade a river the next day, but still that was the day our feet were the driest. We crossed over a large mountain, but because of the fog we couldn't see any of the view.
All in all, we had a wonderful time. It takes more than bad weather to stop us! I could easily have gone for twice as long, and we have already started planning the next hike, this time with Mommy and Daddy.
Now we're headed for a week at Papirfly's cabin in southern Norway. Linda and I are bringing a friend each, and considering that both the fifth Harry Potter movie and the seventh Harry Potter book are coming out, it's going to be a great week!

Wow, sounds like so much fun, wish we were there with you. Gab and I are in need of some hiking, and you guys seem to know the right places to go. Can't wait to hear about the next trip.
Sounds like you are doing a lot of hiking without the parents.....jeez you are growing up so fast!! Too bad your weather is so iffy, same as us, seems like there is not summer or too much as in our case - oh well, still loved your pictures, tomas...-Patti
